QUALIFICATIONS:

Mr. Barge has 20 years experience in the fields of electrical engineering and contracting.  As President of ASE, Mr. Barge directs all day-to-day business administration functions, as well as project development, contract administration, engineering, construction management, and on site functions for ASE=s engineering business. In this capacity, Mr. Barge is very knowledgeable in established project scope development, project delivery and scheduling methods, work breakdown structures, cash flow schedule development, and time based cost accounting.

Mr. Barge is also directly responsible for engineering functions in the areas of point-of-use and central 400 Hz ground power system designs, 60 Hz distribution systems, and digital control system designs.  As an engineer and project manager on many ASE projects, he is further responsible for specification development, project budget development, construction management, contract compliance verification, and submittal reviews.  Mr. Barge is also well versed in system commissioning, testing, and repair.

Prior to establishing ASE, Mr. Barge served as the Senior Electrical Engineer for Aviation Systems, Inc.  In this position, he was responsible for 400 Hz ground power systems engineering and design. Most notably, Mr. Barge designed the central 400 Hz system for the 27 gate installation at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Terminal 4E; and the central 400 Hz system, 60 Hz medium and low voltage distribution system and the digital control system for the 26 gate 400 Hz/preconditioned air installation at the John F. Kennedy International Airport, Terminals 2 & 3.

Prior to being employed by Aviation Systems, Inc., Mr. Barge operated his own contracting company, BEMAC, which specialized in PLC control system installations. He also obtained many years experience in various electrical fields concentrating primarily on 60 Hz distribution and control systems.  Additionally, he served as an electrician in the Naval Nuclear Power Program, and served as the 400 Hz group supervisor aboard the USS Mississippi.  Mr. Barge is also a board member of the Allan P. Kirby Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
