Bartley Cobb, P.E., Mechanical Engineer
EDUCATION:
Mr. Cobb has 14 years experience in the mechanical
engineering field. As a member of ASE,
he performs aviation fuel system engineering and designs. He is responsible for code compliance; specifications
development; construction estimates; construction management; contract compliance
verification, and submittal review. Mr. Cobb also develops system control sequences
of operations.
Prior to his work with ASE, Mr. Cobb served
as the Engineering Manager at an Atlanta area construction company, Player and
Company. His responsibilities included
the design and construction of all projects involving petroleum and hydrocarbons,
and all ASME Code work. His responsibilities
included the design of Aviation Fuel Storage and Distribution Systems; compressed
natural gas bus fueling systems, and chemical process piping designs. His most
notable project is the construction of the Concourse E Fueling System at Hartsfield
Atlanta International Airport. Mr. Cobb=s work with ASME Code projects include B31.1 power piping systems and
B31.3 process piping systems, as well as pressure vessel construction and repair.
His responsibilities included maintaining the firms ASME AU@, AR@, and AS@ Stamps for pressure vessel work.
Prior to being employed with Player and Company,
Mr. Cobb was employed with Robert and Company as a Project Manager where he
gained valuable experience in the design of Aviation Fuel Storage and Distribution
Systems.
Mr. Cobb is a registered Professional Engineer
and an active member of the following organizations:
